On October 1, 2018, Michael Keuthen took over the position of CEO at Engelmann Sensor GmbH. He is thus leading the company together with Dietrich Fabricius (CFO).

Mr. Keuthen builds on many years of experience as managing director in various medium-sized industrial companies. He was previously active in the electronic component industry as CEO of the EES Group (European Electronics Systems), which consists of three German quality PCB manufacturers, namely Schoeller Electronics Systems GmbH in Wetter near Marburg, GGP Electronics GmbH in Osterode and Hans Brockstedt GmbH in Kiel.

Previously, he was Managing Director of Wilhelm Maas GmbH and Flaboform GmbH, a family-owned group of companies specialized in the production and distribution of piping accessories for the metrology, chemical, process, and oil and gas industry. Through his previous 6 years at a Munich Consultancy in Supply Chain Management, he brings with him a package of knowledge and experience for the optimization of manufacturing companies. Mr. Keuthen studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and completed a degree in industrial engineering.

At Engelmann, he will devote himself to the strategic international expansion of business and the optimization of core processes in order to consolidate the company’s claim to be the market leader in the heat meter business.

“It tempted me as an electrical engineer to enter uncharted territory with smart metering. There will be many changes in the industry and among our customers, which will also be a big challenge for Engelmann. I am convinced that we will continue the more than 40-year success story of Engelmann and that we will further develop this technological gem with targeted measures” says Michael Keuthen about his new role.

His emphasis is clearly on the expansion of customer benefits and a technologically leading, complete product range in metering and sub-metering in open communication standards.

Engelmann’s focus is on being the provider of Smartest Metering Technology.
