Easy Set-up
The compact meter of the new generation offers highest flexibility when it comes to the set-up. Given the modifiable casing of the calculator and refittable modules it is the right meter for many occasions. You can customize the meter in a few quick steps with different interfaces.

- M-Bus
- M-Bus with 3 pulse inputs
- 2 pulse outputs
Flexibility by wireless communication
Another option is to order the SensoStar with an integrated radio module which offers a simple solution for the integration into a radio network. The radio telegram is adjustable to your needs, whether it might be long telegram for walk-by readout or short, OMS-conform, telegram.
Easy connectivity to a smart meter gateway
The new SensoStar is the meter of the future. You can easily switch the radio telegram from OMS 3.0.1 to OMS 4.0.2 or order it preset directly from Engelmann. This guarantees a fast transition and connection to a smart meter gateway.
Flexibility on-site
A meter for all circumstances. SensoStar is suitable for all prevalent installation points and can be installed in either forward or return flow. Due to simple parameterisation it can be done immediately on-site by keystroke or using the device monitor. The same way the displayed units can be changed, just press the button or set it by the device monitor. Meters with a glycol medium can also be programmed on-site by glycol type and glycol concentration.
Precise measurement
Engelmann extends its proven dynamic temperature measuring cycle to 2/60 seconds thereby strengthening the high requirements of measurement accuracy. All SensoStar meters provide backflow detection which is indicated by means of a direct hint on the display.

Engelmann launches the new compact meter as of April 1, 2017 and consequently replaces SensoStar2 in the area of the compact heat and cooling meters.
